Kotobukiya brings us a successor to their highly popular Mega Slash Edge Heavy Weapon Unit! It’s based on the idea of a weighty, sizeable weapon that can be wielded with one hand; it’s been designed in a size that’s compatible with figure models such as “Frame Arms Girl,” “Megami Device,” and “Megalomaria,” which are approximately 15cm to 16cm tall. Its basic form is Saber Mode, using a clear green molded blade effect. It’s equipped with a gimmick that transforms into Arrow Mode or Blaster Mode by expanding the generator on the blade’s tip. It can also be used as a shield using a larger shield effect; the shield effect can be equipped to a character by using a special grip. The optional grip comes in three different shapes, so it can be used with a variety of characters; mounting attachments are included to attach to the 3mm holes on various robot kits, so it can be used without a grip. A 3mm joint is used to connect the grip, and if it’s connected to a character via a flexible arm or joint set (sold separately), it can be used as a modified part, such as a wing unit.
