This is a fixed-pose model of a science-fiction/anime item.

A pre-painted die-cast “model” of the “DV447a Otto” dive-bomber “aircraft”. This from a series of CG models that have been appearing regularly in the modeling magazine “Master Modelers”. A scale is not given, however judging from the size of the cockpit opening I would hazard a guess of 1/144 or so. Decals for at least two options are included, however placement is largely left to your imagination. But since there is no prototype, who is to say what’s “correct”? An in-flight display stand is included, fortunate as according to the story these were launched from flying aircraft carriers (dirigibles?) and thus had no landing gear. Apparently they didn’t learn the lesson of USN Sparrowhawks aboard the Akron and Macon, which is that as soon as you remove the wheels to save weight, some fool pilot will have an in-flight emergency and will have to make an emergency landing on the ground! No pilot figure is included. I will leave discussions of airworthiness to those with more knowledge on the subject.
